NBC and Weinstein and Biden

Hi,
I just posted two entries that were in "drafts" since 2015  😂!! Modern technology.

Attention all blog readers:
My stupid blog had feed back from the 'interweb' masters, trying to sell me stuff to promote my "interesting" blog! 😂😂😂 Hilarious!  (I don't want to spend my money on a non-interesting blog - which didn't have posts since 2015 - but I will GOOGLE tomorrow on how to promote something I do for fun to entertain myself).

This is how my 5:00 PM Blog works. I listen to FOX (Five and Five?) and then turn to NBC (both in the background while I sip my martini, and blog and laugh!!
So - what bothered me today?
1) The "me TOO" movement!
2) all other NBC news
ME TOO.
I have to say - as a 65 year old female - when I hear women bawling about Harvey Weinstein making them famous for a sex act - I sort of lose sympathy. To be shocked that you haven't ever heard about the casting couch, invented in Holywood at the beginning of the last CENTURY, tells me you haven't done much reading, and that you shouldn't be a journalist!  I am not famous; I didn't have that fame bug - and if I had, I have to say, I had PRINCIPLES and enough courage to tell a jerk to .... you know -  the F OFF strategy! Surely Hollywood biographies are not a secret and it has bee well recorded how stars became stars.

 Give me a break.
"Boo Hoo I am famous now so I am going to take him down" strategy doesn't work for me. Who 'broke' or led the Weinstein story anyhow?
  Today - NBC is covering the Joe Biden accuser story.  Honestly - if media thinks that old folks like me, don't recognize political opportunism in action. OMG. the Socialists don't want old Biden. Got it.  Me Too is in action to take down the undesirable candidate. ' 'Touchy feely' Biden is going down. I don't want to speculate if there is truth to the story or not - but these are all oppotunistic people - and will say anything to survive.
  I am truly offended that media thinks that people are that stupid.  Growing up in the 60's and 70's - there was no question - DARWIN ALL THE WAY. You do what you have to do - to survive. All instinct driven in animals and ambition driven in humans.
How do the socialist 'cry baby losers' of the Me Too movement think that this argument will work?  And how does the political machine behind Biden think they can apologize for everything except not for 'that'!  Old people watch TV news -they are only growing angry with fake news  - young people don't watch TV and besides, they haven't been taught history in schools to know the facts of the past.


Who is the genius selling the ads on TV - the demographics are all wrong for the sales pitch, and yet they sell ads.  Here is my view from the hard working old achievers perspective: EVERY baby deserves a F ighting chance in life - the results might not be the same, but they deserve the same chance. Pink. purle or a polka dot kid, needs an equal chance. Give them their vaccines - give them a real education. Give them motivation.  If it don't take - then that is Darwin's theory in action.  In my opinion, this is where SOCIALISM AND COMMUNISM THEORY fails.  SORRY. Results cannot be guaranteed.  Equal chance - and then you have to deal with the emotional crisis that comes with a reality check: life is not fair.
When you do win - even if you cheated - shut up and have grace.

Some people can run faster, some people can jump higher. The danger lies when the maximum is not controlled by the individual, but rather by the state. That is not what equal and fair looks.  Cheating - Weinstein favours, College application cheating - all part of the current ladder climbing compromises of cheaters, liars and cry babies.  This brings to mind the Seinfed comedy from the 90's "You're all winners!!" Not so. Losers want to be winners - they will cheat and lie to be winners.
When you are a Socialist - you just have to expose all of the cheaters and liars and promise the lie that everyone can be a winner.

In my own family experience - we had the early birds and we had those who needed their beauty sleep.  Then jealousy developed when success was could be measured. Jealously led to anger and meaness.
And that is how I learned you can cheat and blame others when you feel bad about results,  or you get up early and work for success.

Quite the mess I have made!!

I am back in Florida, with time on my hands. One of my 'readers' asked me if I gave up posting for Lent, and another of my readers said, "Please continue". I understand writer's cramp - this is not what I am experiencing.

 It is not as though I have nothing to say - I am recovering from bite "stung" from a critical review about what I posted....apparently - my free psychiatrist therapy - translation 5:00PM martini and the spelling mistakes degrade my story. MY BAD! the truth is:

I am busy lugging and slugging and resting in the evenings watching news and it ain't good.

I dunno.  I think now that my husband might be in charge - I  bury my head in his truth.

Hey I am a Senior Citizen now!

Once upon a time -
I created Lady Peach.
Then -  I used a blog format as my "free psychiatrist" and easily purged the hideous experience I lived through thanks to my husband's entaglement with the American legal system.  Writing jibberish for under one month - cleared my mind. One years worth of tribulations - gone in less than one month. Amazing, the power of the keyboard!  I took a hiatus after 2015 my last post - until today when I went to my mail box and took delivery of an on-line purchase.

 Since the election of Donald Trump, I have become wary of expressing opinions.  I am seriously concerned about the power of Google and all of the computers storing information - and worried about "lists" that might be in the making, and possibly stored. This is the age of conspiracy theory and I must admit I am afraid that there might be some truth to all of the crazy things out there.  Historically - I know that lists were made and kept during Stalin and Hitler times so why woud the power play be differnet now?

 I tread carefully. I want to raise my concerns about GLOBAL WARMING and my concerns of a scripted narrow taling points on the subject.
 I was born in Hamilton, Ontario - Steel town.   I loved the old Hamilton. You dressed up to go downtown- you might bump into people you knew. You might even have planned a rendevous downtown so you would look your best.  Downtown was busy. You simply put your best foot forward to be seen at your best in busy alive downtown.   If you bought anything - you carried your purcase home in a bag.
Today, oh so conveniently, I opened my mailbox at the end of my drive, and pulled out a lovely large bubble wrapped package.  This buble wrap - encased a basic plastic "bag" which covered a cardboard box. Inside the box  was the tissue wrapped garment which I paid $112, tax included.

Please explain to me how all of this packaging is environmentally friendly?  We are asked to recycle  yet my parcel generated a full bag of plastic garbage. Florida does not recycle plastic bags.  This is an IN YOUR FACE example of waste and a clear abuse of every environmental principle.  How is this on-line shopping efficient?  This is hurting the environment BIG TIME - never mind the loss of jobs in retail - the amount of trash I have to pull to the curb is truly upsetting.
